JC Wine & Dinner

This past weekend I attended JC Wine Fest with two girlfriends. It was a sponsored unlimited wine tasting for over hundreds of wines at the Harborside Atrium in Jersey City. It was a super fun event and perfect for a cold January Saturday evening.

Later on we headed to Kitchen Step on Jersey Avenue for what ended up being a lovely post-wine tasting dinner. We each ordered a beer and split the zucchini fries with harissa mayo dipping sauce. Elizabeth and Dee each ordered the mussels frites with herbed fries, and I got the olive-crusted salmon with spicy honey glaze, artichoke and baby spinach. Obviously we had to order dessert – the spiced butternut squash crème brulee which was without a doubt delicious. The service was great too! I already want to go back!
