ALL THAT I'M AFTER

All that I’m after lately seems to be related to setting myself up for a successful year. After my roommate Betsy received “The 52 Lists Project” by Moorea Seal as a gift, I knew I had to purchase a copy for myself as well. The purpose of the books is for you to take time to yourself and reflect. By making the list mentioned every Sunday of each week, it should help you to achieve this. I thrive off of lists. I have a mini legal pad in my purse at all times for the lists I create on a daily basis. I have lists in my phone, on my bedroom desk, on my desk at work, everywhere. It’s heinous, I know.

Yesterday I had a great night out with my brother. I was able to get Knicks tickets in a suite at Madison Square Garden so we grabbed dinner and headed to the game. I always remember my parents telling us as children that we would one day learn to appreciate each other. At the time I never thought I’d see the day. We were constantly torturing each other (well if you were to ask me I’d say he was always the one tormenting me – BUT, I digress). Now I find myself texting him to ask him a silly question, ask him for a favor, or I’m simply inquiring about what he’s been up to. Despite me being 2 years older, he’s a great source of knowledge and even though we don’t see each other often, he truly is one of my best friends.
